Prostitution

Is it a sin? Yes

Is it immoral? Up to the individuals

Is is a victimless crime? Yes. Voluntarily on both sides.

Should we legalize it? Yes,we already have. And we should To make it safer for the prostitutes themselves.

Vancouver and Reno... the Canadian hookers even have health cards...

Everyone in Canada has health cards...even the pimps and the johns...

In Canada, while it is legal to communicate sexual services for sale it is still illegal to purchase the services...ohwell

not in Vancouver...

Yes, in Vancouver...

These two pictures were taken just outside of that bay by the bridge in the painting a couple weeks ago.
The barge fills one side with water and drops the logs into the bay where the bundles are towed to other destinations.
It is interesting to watch...the barge slowly filling with water and tipping...tipping...then blink and you will miss it!
The other interesting thing is seeing the event and then an approx 8 second delay to hearing the huge booming noise of the logs falling. Never gets old!
Entertainment west coast style. biggrin

This is another of E J Huges paintings. I love it because my Dad worked on the booms all his life.
Walking on those logs and operating the little boom boats to herd the logs in. Dangerous work.
Thanks Dad.

This is one of my favorites. By local famous artist E J Hughes. It is of the Lagoon Bridge in Saltair BC where I grew up.
I have been over that bridge many many times and it looks just like that.

And yes, OF COURSE Iran hopes to use agreements with one country to accomplish their goals against another.

Iran was absolutely OVERJOYED when the US was manipulated into destroying their arch enemy Saddam.

If you actually and dispassionately study the true history of that (or any politically active) region, you will find that EVERYONE involved has ulterior motives.

EVERYONE hopes to use the interests and goals of one opponent, to frustrate the interests and goals of another. That is the way all foreign policy is conducted.

Be careful about judging a situation by how broadly your enemies are smiling.

They can, and often do, manipulate you with that fake smile, every bit as dishonestly as they do with their lies about their good intentions.

And your allies...
