When people are single for some time do you think that they "hook up" with someone just for the sake of hooking up to not be alone? I do not want to make that mistake, but I think I could be in danger of such a thing. How about you?

Sometimes I wonder if I'm in danger of such a thing, but then I remember how awkward I find initial encounters, and how I need emotional comfort to be sexual with someone, and I realize that while some thought of it may be appealing, it's not something that I actually want.

I think a lot of people do, and have come close to doing it a couple of times myself...but once I realized that would be the ONLY reason for hooking up, I new it wouldn't make me happy. You have a beautiful smile, by the way!
