I stand upon my lonely shore
I look out over the waves I hear them crash upon the rocks below me i feel the surf upon my skin I wonder how i came to be hear alone,afraid,insignificant I wonder what i ever did to deserve this isolation As I feel the tears run down my cheeks As i feel my heart almost seem to crack I clench my soul against the pain I steel myself against the hurt I realize this is only temporary I realize I will live again i will love again i will BE again |
