Part of the problem is the low rise pants. The undies don't work with that. It is difinitely a generation thing, as men do it with the baggy pants too. Underwear is suposed to be UNDER. If you can see it, buy clothes that fit! |

Gwen started wearing them, when Oprah talked about the no panty line thing. I bought her 2 flannel ones for winter. Just don't understand this exposed thing. You know when you got something in your teeth you use floss to get it out.....so maybe the women wearing thong's are trying to get something out too!!!!!!  |

OK, I know I am a member of the older generation. But I have to ask; What is the deal with young ladies wearing a thong, so that the top is showing?? I don't understand the guy thing either. Personally, it makes me think of a (pardon the phrase) trashy type of person. Now I know that is prob. not true. That is why I am asking the question, I just DON"T understand. I thought underware was just that. Is there a hidden message here or just a trend? this topic can go so many ways. Most that i have seen do that. Are just lookinmg for attention and it's usually the little girs. Times are changing and society seems to fallow it's self so when somthing new comes out. Most want to keep up with the new looks that come out. Not all women or should we say girls that do that are trashy, but some are not far from it

But like I commented earlier, the girl I saw today at our conferences while everyone else is dressed business casual to suits and ties, her thong just didn't belong

My daughter and her friends tried to do that around me and I got a pair of scissors and threatened to cut any underwear strings I saw, they stopped doing it at least around me. I hated that. It does look trashy to me and I wasn't having it around me at all.

But it does drive me up a wall to see someone and they are showing but then I don't care for those pants the guys were and the crotch is down to there knees. I use to dare my son's friends to wear them around me lmao told them I would pull them down around there ankles. Funny not one of them would wear them around me they knew me to well and it would not have mattered where we were I would have done that.
