I had my relationship status set to "No Answer" which usually means youre hiding something. Nope, single, have been for a VERY long time. Was married once, divorced in 99. But I dont feel like I should have to live under that "divorced" umbrella. Its been 10 yrs...geez.

I have been trying to figure out what the difference is between single and divorced, in a practical sense.

I'm wondering what's the difference between interested in "dating" and "relationship". Isn't dating a relationship?

Nope, dating is going out and hanging out with more than one person at a time. Relationship is exclusive.

no dating and relationship not the same thing...if a person puts down dating on there profile there not looking for a commitment.there looking to date only.go out with multiple people...thats the difference

I would think dating would mean you are playing the field and possibly looking for a relationship. Being in a relationship is more than just dating and there may be emotional attachment and the possibility for something more long term. Of course this is just my opinion.

A relationship is a commitment to another person only. Dating is testing the waters, no commitments.

In England a date is a meeting for businessmen in general referred to as "I have a date to attend"
As term dating in USA the people will refer to it as "Going out" so term dating feels odd for me and if you are going with someone for a date first time you are "asking them out" confusing ?
