I just finished reading your profile and have to say that while, yes, it is pretty long by industry standards , I'm always more drawn to people who take the time to really paint a clear picture of themselves and give the reader a true 'taste' of their personality, quirks, etc. The ones that say 'hey, I don't know what to write, but if you want to know something, email me' DRIVE ME NUTS!
After reading your profile I would expect no surprises upon conversing with you further, or meeting you in person -- which I think is cool -- it was honest, up front and a pure reflection of who you are in the 'real' world. My only thought is that you might want to leave some stuff for the reader to discover about you in the future (ie your childhood, etc.) ... you can allude to stuff, but leave some mystery so the person is intrigued and feels compelled to contact you so they can learn more. As you can see ... I have a little 'problem' with the whole concept of brevity myself ... good luck with your search - sounds like you've got lots to offer. |

*laughing* I think you and I are very similar, rockstarskates ... I have a tendancy to want to lay all my cards on the table and say 'Here -- this is ME, you've got 2 minutes to decide whether you want to take it or leave it'! I'm open, honest and wear my heart on my sleeve, so I have a hard time reigning that in when the world kinda wants me to 'play the game' and be all hard to get, mysterious, etc., etc. I just hate all that stuff -- I'm too old, tired and just plain disinterested in playing a part other than my own at this stage in my life.
to the people who aren't afraid to be who they are and say what they mean ... cuz like Dr. Seuss said, 'those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind'. Rock on! |

Very interesting and well written. A bit on the lengthy side, but I have a short attention span.
Good luck! |

Gives my sisters and I something to torment her about! |
