To be brutally honest -- Of the ones I've met in person from dating sites (with one notable exception), they all seem to want a guy with no mind of his own, someone who can be "domesticated," someone who is willing to lead a life of mindless tradition and obeisance, someone who comes straight from the factory with a steering wheel already installed. And that's why I stopped looking for girlfriends on dating sites! thanks for filling me in, I didn't realize that's what I was looking for.. no wonder nothing has worked out yet, I haven't been talking to the right type! man! I'm so happy you've enlightened me! Like I said -- "Of the ones I've met in person." I don't recall extrapolating that to include anyone else. I have absolutely no idea who or what you're looking for, nor did I ever indicate any such knowledge. just commenting on the generalization... they tend to get under my skin. |

"Of the ones I've met in person" is not a generalization. It's a statement based on personal experience; admittedly not a statistically significant sampling, but one that holds up for my own (historical) assessments. In no way did I indicate that this held true for anyone outside that sampling, and I feel it is disingenuous of you to try to present it as such. Had I said, "All women...." or "All women on dating sites...." you would have legitimate grounds to characterize this as a generalization. As it stands, you have to ignore what I wrote in order to characterize it as such. And I'm OK with that, if that helps you somehow. It's just that I would prefer people to read what I actually write, and not what they would like it to say. |

After lookin at a few profiles here, i have come to the conclusion that most women don't really know what they want, Oh i know what they say, but not what they want; seems the two don't go hand and hand  Maybe you should look at more than "a few profiles" before you come to any "CONCLUSIONS" WTF OVER,,,,,,,

After lookin at a few profiles here, i have come to the conclusion that most women don't really know what they want, Oh i know what they say, but not what they want; seems the two don't go hand and hand I want it ALL but all I need is LOVE

wel what we want too have a guy that is truthfull not liar faithfull there when we need them....doent need no one else.....and is totally into his girl and no other is that too much too ask for

To infer or estimate by extending or projecting known information. ....which is the context I used in that particular sentence: ============ Like I said -- "Of the ones I've met in person." I don't recall extrapolating that to include anyone else. ============ In other words, I did not use my own personal observations and extend them -- "extrapolate" -- to include people outside of that observational sampling. I don't see a problem here. |

I want men to stop asking me what I want, they should be able to read my mind, guess by my body language and figure it out by the words I use...I mean really is that too much to ask????
