Not such bad advice. My roommate moved my boyfriend from my bedroom next door to her bedroom. They stole 9 grand from me, then moved out, left me with no job, no money and no place to live.

She spent time telling everyone she would never have to work another day in her life.

Three years later, on New Year's Eve, I walked into a bar with a fur coat that I paid for, new job, great new apartment and a cute date. Guess who was working behind the bar and guess which boyfriend had wound up in prison.

Sometime life sucks BIG time - but it all depends on how you handle it.

First off, I am sooooooo sorry to hear that this happened to you. I know what it feels like.. though I guess I was *lucky* enough to get an email instead of a text.

Your heart will heal when IT decides it is ready. THe only thing you can do to help that along is to reflect and find a reason to feel grateful that you are now available for someone that IS the right one for you.. and you for them.

you know sometimes it`s not so much that someone breaks our hearts but how they do it,.. that sucks,..

I had alot of questions that I needed answered,..( some I didn`t want to know ) but I wanted to I know why,.I wanted some closure,..

Sadly sometimes the only closure you can have is along the lines of "I know who I am, I know I am better than this..." There are not always logical answers to another person's behaviour - only one more example of why they are not the best person to have in our life.

Man. I remember the days when you actually had to TALK to the person when you wanted to break up. Nowadays, we have text messaging and emails that we can do it that way, even though those are viewed as chump ways to do it. Makes it easier on the dumper while hurting and aggrivating the dumpee.

Try and stay busy as best you can.. Im going through the same thing.. although I was the one to have her leave after 11 yrs.. I just cant tolerate cheating and thats what she was doing.. doesnt mean it doesnt hurt when your the one that ends it.. as in my case.. Bad thing is she lives with the guy less than a mile from me.. Ive tried alternate routes so I dont have to pass them anymore.. Good luck.. it takes time

Things happen for a reason. Sorry about your pain brother. It has happened to me the same way. It's funny because I would never do that to another person. *shrugs* nothing to do but move on to greener pastures.

that same thing happened to me, is text the new break up method of the future, no more dear john letters, or break up over coffee or dinner??

sorry to hear about your break up, its very hard when you dont have closure to move on, but its an individual experience, so i have no advice to give, just sympathy and an open ear (email) if needed.
