I just recieved this email from a friend of mine.. and ask you to PLEASE add your prayers & healing thoughts... and YES.. PLEASE ASK EVERYONE YOU KNOW as well:
I Would like to ask you all to pray for the following..... Douglas Bulay is at St. Lukes in Bethlehem. He is on total life support and in a comma. He has MRSA which went to his brain and shut every thing down. He has been there since Thursday and died once and was brought back. Please help me. Dear Lord I humbly come before you and ask, for a hedge of protection around Douglas Lord God. Heal this young man, as only you can Lord God. Bring him out of the coma and bring healing from the top of his head to the tips of his toes.... In Your Mighty precious name this I pray.... AMEN |

Escuse my naievete (and laziness), but what is MRSA an acronym for Feral? I may as well broaden my horizons once in a while by asking such things rather than play Renaissance Man.

Definition MRSA infection is caused by Staphylococcus aureus bacteria — often called "staph." MRSA stands for methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. It's a strain of staph that's resistant to the broad-spectrum antibiotics commonly used to treat it. MRSA can be fatal. Most MRSA infections occur in hospitals or other health care settings, such as nursing homes and dialysis centers. It's known as health care-associated MRSA, or HA-MRSA. Older adults and people with weakened immune systems are at most risk of HA-MRSA. More recently, another type of MRSA has occurred among otherwise healthy people in the wider community. MRSA contributed to the death, 1 yr ago last night, to a man I planned on loving the rest of my life..

I've heard of this but didn't make the association. I know people who work in the hospital. HORRIBLE  This is the same type of bacteria which causes acne I believe but in a mutated strand. It's scary because one wouldn't think it is such an insidious affliction. God Bless

Lord God , we Know You are Willing and Able to Lift Him UP and OFF that bed of sickness...as only You can do ,Oh Lord..... and to Make His Body Every Bit Whole........ So We cry out to You Lord.....Trusting and Know that You Hear Us, When We Call Upon Your Precious Holy Name Oh Lord! Lord Thank You, for the times you brought me thru... when I desparately was ill, and there was no hope in sight ... but You Oh Lord....  brought me thru. Lord.. I ask and trust that You are Able to Do the Same for Douglas. We Know that You are with Douglas......right there in that hospital room...touching..healing...and bringing him thru also. Blessing and prayers answered for Douglas Lord.......Let the Light that is you Father God...shine on Douglass....Heal him Lord as only you can....let him be an awesome testimony to all here as well as at the hospital..... |
