your ped should be able to recommend a good formula for her. there are a few soy based ones out there.

Talk to your doctor. There are special milk products for lactose intolerant people and there is something called lactaid that are drops that you can put in milk based foods that makes the lactose easier to tolerate.

My son was severely lactose intolerant. I used the Lactaid products, he didn't like the soy but did well with those. There's also things like almond milk, etc. I also used a lactose-free formula when he was on formula.

Take her for a lactate test to determine severity. my son had to try a few things.

Soy Milk both of my kids are lactose intolerant and they doctor said to give them soy milk instead of whole milk

Goat's milk is way better than cow's, esp for small children, but there's no folic acid in it so you have to take supplements.

my 2yrs old child, too...soy products are great...any way, talk to the ped. :smile:

Watch the soy products. They contain estrogen and can cause girls to develop and menustrate too early. I also recommend a nutritionist.

My whole family is except me......I say also talk and take to doctor and make sure....and they will recommend what to do.

I know for us...we get our calcium from other sources.....
