Alot depends on if the real love is there or not. If it is,then all obstacles can be overcome.

It depends on the two people involved and how bad they want it to work out.flowerforyou flowerforyou

depends how much distance and the amount of time.

Distance makes the heart grow fonder.... but for a long period of time... it just pulls you apart.

the way I always heard that, and from my experience...absence makes the heart grow fonder, for somebody else. Distance seems to work the same way. JMAO

It can work - and it does for some. There are sooooo many variables, however. For me, the big drawback is not being a part of day-to-day interaction.

How does the person behave when stuck in traffic?

Will they stop by your place of employment just to see you once in awhile?

Do they put the toilet paper over or under?

It might seem silly, but it's really the little things that COULD make or break a relationship.

2 of my friends have 1 1/2 years in a long distance relastionship. Due to circumstances they have had no other choice. They should be finally living together in 2-3 months.

I went through a 4-5 months long distance relastionship.

Honestly, it's the same as any relastionship. If you make a commitment, it works fine. Remember though, the goal of a long distance relastionship is for both of you to end up together. I would, if possable, figure out a time frame where you would end up together.

If neither party plans on moving to be together ever, then no, it wont work. You need the hope of being together to make it work and worthwhile. Cause there are alot of obsticles.
