Why is it that when I go to Search --> Who's online...and clearly see profiles with the little marker that says "Online Now" and I click on their profile.....I get a message that "this user's profile has been deactivated"?????? But I check again by refreshing or clicking My Account and starting the search all over....they're still "online" but "deactivated".....
My theory?? wherease this happens only to profiles with very very attractive pictures, my guess is that the Mingle2 is putting these "fake" profiles to attract more people/users...... What do y'all think? |

I think you have hit the nail on it's head. It is known as the bait trap. But in my honest opinion this is a free site so you have a free choice wether to continue using or not. Or secondly they are block from contact. |

they just deactivate when the see you clicking...

One can deactivate their profile and still log onto the system (showing them as "online"). I have deactivated myself a couple of times in the past and while deactivated, logged on to check out what's going on in the site. So, that's likely what you're seeing. I do know a few people who switch back and forth deactivating and reactivating their accounts.

What do y'all think? Sorry you feel that way but.......in no way does this site promote fake profiles nor do they plant them for other users to see. The only answer I can give you is this is a glitch in the system. If you can please send me in e-mail and some of the names that are doing this and it will be checked out and fixed. Please do not post the names but instead e-mail them to me so I can pass them on to Charles to have them look at this situation.
