Kristi is correct. We ban any account which we are positive is a fake. If this is happening, then it is potentially a bug. Please do mail either Kristi or myself the user names of the accounts which you describe. It would certainly be appreciated.

My theory?....Everyone on here is fake in some little way...  oh really???  sorry luv.. but not me...

One can deactivate their profile and still log onto the system (showing them as "online"). I have deactivated myself a couple of times in the past and while deactivated, logged on to check out what's going on in the site. So, that's likely what you're seeing. I do know a few people who switch back and forth deactivating and reactivating their accounts. |

One can deactivate their profile and still log onto the system (showing them as "online"). I have deactivated myself a couple of times in the past and while deactivated, logged on to check out what's going on in the site. So, that's likely what you're seeing. I do know a few people who switch back and forth deactivating and reactivating their accounts. I go with {{{buttons}}} Once you deactivate your account, you can still log on but nobody will see you, even your friends (those who were in your Friends List) wont be able to see you. I've noticed this on JustSayHi, I just dont know on Mingle2 and OnePlusYou, may be Charles is right it is "potentially a bug" and I hope they are working on it now, otherwise someone tries to possess this site

Why is it that when I go to Search --> Who's online...and clearly see profiles with the little marker that says "Online Now" and I click on their profile.....I get a message that "this user's profile has been deactivated"?????? But I check again by refreshing or clicking My Account and starting the search all over....they're still "online" but "deactivated"..... My theory?? wherease this happens only to profiles with very very attractive pictures, my guess is that the Mingle2 is putting these "fake" profiles to attract more people/users...... What do y'all think? I have not seen any very very attractive pictures yet . So maybe we are on different sites .....!. If what you said about the rest is true , then I guess it is very very very very WEIRD . |

I just clicked on two accounts on this topic, to learn more about the person, and they had been deactivated but are still on the thread of this topic.
I have also seen that when you search "Who's ON-Line" many of the persons on previuos pages continue to come up, and more than once. Some pages look almost the same as a previous one.... One question of the programmer: if one deletes his account, do his/her forum topics or comments also delete? (It seems they don't, or you would lose many topics or the continuity of the thread....) |
