As far as religion's meaning of "sin" it means to disobey god's laws. (This would be the Biblical concept of god)

The word "sin" is only truly defined by religious doctrine and within the confines of that doctrine it comes to mean disobedience of your Lord and Master. (God) The punishment for disobedience (sin) is death.

"The wages of sin is death."

This law of god is what makes it necessary to be forgiven of your sins ~~by god~~ because if he cannot forgive you, then it is his responsibility to kill you. ~~Your wages.~~

"The wages of sin is death." bigsmile

To be forgiven you must join the cult and to join the cult you must accept the blood sacrifice offered in payment for your sins... the (alleged) son of god was the sacrifice.

Once you accept the sacrifice and accept Jesus as your savior, then you can be forgiven and your life will be spared. But you are now promised to the cult and you now are in service to your Lord and Master. You give your life and promise your eternal soul in service to your master.

You will not only serve him in life, but you will serve him in heaven for eternity.

You have sold your soul.

All because you disobeyed your master and left him, but found your way back to him to once again become his servant.

Once you make this bargain, you are said to be "born again." and you can never (they say) get out of this contract. They will tell you, once you are saved, you are always saved no matter what. (However, this is not true because soul is free.)

You can't turn around and decide to sell your soul to Satan because you already sold it to the Lord God.

Its all about the slaves, and we are the slaves, created and bred to be slaves to the alien over lords who claim to be gods. To disobey these Lords, is "sin" punishable by death.

How is that?

Kant took the "Golden Rule" and expanded on it. He stated when you have to make a decision about doing or not doing something you should consider what the world would be like if everyone everyone who had to make that decision decided as you did. For example if you have the chance to contribute to a charity and decided not to, would you like to live in a world where no one contributed to charity? I think sin is when you make a decision or do something that makes the world a worse place to be.

What is a sin for you ?.

how am i supposed to phrase that question?

what is a sin for, ME??

I think sin is for everyone, i think sin's should be shared with friend's and one's we don't know alike. i don't think sin's should be hoarded. Right now sin's seem to be of only medium value as compared to oil and precious metal futures, but i think that will change sometime soon.

Sin's more elaborated wordage also seems to be as stable as ever, sin-cerely, sin-tillating( yeah i know, but hey!) - and others

sin-ce i started this response, sin has gotten much more use than normal, so i think i'll stop sinning after i say this I'm Sin-gle and i sin.

sin-cerely, tribo - pitchfork

oops Almost forgot one of my best friends here is scinn also, hi scinn waving

Those thoughts and choices that stop one from becoming all that one's true nature would have allowed one to become.

That which steals one from them self.

No it's not.

Who told you that?

Why did you believe them?

Why would you, a non-Christian, allow yourself to be governed by what a religion tells you is a sin?

Marriage: Marriage is a contract with THE STATE. (And otherwise ~the government~ or the overlords who supervise the breeding of the livestock ~ humans.)

Originally it was an attempt to control and keep track of genetics and bloodlines in the effort to create a master race, or a better race of humans. (Royalty were required to marry certain bloodlines who were also considered royalty.) These royal families have bloodlines that date back to the genetic experiments on primitive humans where alien DNA is involved. Prince Charles's royal bloodline has been kept track of and he is said (by secret societies) to be a descendant of Joseph Ben Panthera, the Rabi who played the role of Jesus in religious doctrine.

Sex out of wedlock became a sin only because the overlords wanted to discourage indiscriminate mixing and weakening of these bloodlines which they felt would lead to an inferior race.

A "sin" is only defined within these religious doctrines by these overlords. It was these overlords who invented religion.

Sex is natural and should be a mutual decision between two people only.

I wish people would learn to stop letting THE STATE and THE CHURCH tell them what to do in these personal matters.

Slaves, free yourselves!

Soul is free. May the force be with you and may you learn to use it!

What is a sin for you ?.

in a society based in religion a sin is the violation of any laws set forth by man or god and for those that claim to now follow any God the sin is refer to as being a criminal act

both the laws of man and that of a God are situatied as such that at any given point in time a person within that society can be found guilty of committing a number of criminal acts and/or sins

So if you claim to be a Christian you can be arrested for coveting your neighbors ass?
