I completely understand. A good friend and I have a pact that if we are both still single when I reach 55 (he will be 63) we will get married. Of course one of us will still die alone, unless we die simultaneously.

As I am getting older I want to be married before I die. I know how that feels. Not sure I'll ever re-marry, but now & then I feel just a bit of fear when I think of the possibility of dying alone. Don't want fear to be my guide for the rest of my life, though!
