I leave them sometimes. I rinse them well, but don't always put them in the dishwasher like I should.

rinse then they hit the dishwasher...im a neat freak Even if I scrape and "pre-wash" my dish washer leaves a terrible residue that I have to wash off after I run it. Might as well save the water and just wash in the sink. Don't know what is wrong with the dishwasher in this apartment.....

my dishwasher is attached to my arms so if my dishes arent clean its my own fault besides it keeps my hands feeling soft and free of residue

You must have a different reaction to water. My hands end up feeling all dried out and terrible.

they are rinsed and left in the sink then moved to the dishwasher at the end of the day... my mother let me think it was cool to wash dishes when i was a midget and once i got stuck on daily dishwashing duty until i moved out... just can't do it again... i'm traumatized LOL
