Why ,if someone sees things differently than you, do they have to be a
nut or some kind of enemy?

Life is too short for all of this bitterness.

I watch fox news once in a while, and i'm not 'right wing'.

Even (or should i say especially?) if i don't agree with the way a
person/organization slants their presentation of something, they may
still have something to offer me: a different way of looking at things,
the potential to understand why they look at things so differently than
me, the opportunity to examine my own beliefs. If something they say
*really* gets me angry - why would I be so angry? Maybe i'm the
closed-minded one.

It doesn't matter which one you watch, the truth is (depending on if
it's MSNBC or FOX) somewhere to the right or left respectively.
