Its only ridiculous to a fundie.My position is it;s not any of my buisness what a women does with her body and since it is legal ,it's none of yours. It is all of our business when ANYONE commits murder. The "A woman has a right to determine what happens to her own body" argument becomes moot when she becomes pregnant because at that point she has no right to decide what happens to the other person now growing inside her body that has no voice to speak for itself. You can try and clear your conscious with any lather that will soothe you at the time, but in the end, it is still murder and anyone that commits such a crime against humanity should be jailed the same as if I walked up and shot you dead. I am as non-religious as a person can get and I still say it is murder to have an abortion. The left in this country wants no one to have any responsibility for anything they do. Nothing is your own fault. The more you tear down the things that make us civilized the more you take us back to the stone age. You don't have to be a religious fundamentalist to see that. Just have a brain and a conscious. |

Same reason I would never take away the right of people to make the most important decisions of there lives, and the lives of there family, just like Terry Shiavo, Just like Abortion. Terri Shiavo's family wanted her to live, her husband claimed that she had wanted to die, but only after he had her on life support for years and then found a new family. He could have left her alive and she would have been taken care of by her family. |

Abortion is murder, you haven't even tried to address the fact that fetuses are living human beings, why are they exempt from the laws against murder? murderers on death row are also human, yet no one seems to care about their right to life..animals are also god´s creatures yet I doubt very much that you are a vegetarian..... No its not. Its completly in line with your reasoning. A bunch of cells does not make a human. What makes a human . . . well what makes anything what it is? All of the parts that comprise it that are required for it to continue to function and be defined as what it is. Without all of them working in unison you do not have the whole. A engine is not a car. A car door is not a car. My hair is not a human. My leg is not a human. So you say a child at conception is a human . . . how the hell is that? Is there a brain at conception? Is there a central nervous system at conception? Is there eyes at conception? Do you even know anything about this subject? Does an embryo have human DNA? Yes. Therefore it's human. How far developed it is shouldn't matter. How developed does your nervous system have to be for you to be considered human? Should we kill the mentally retarded? How about the autistic? What about someone who has a broken neck, they can't move their body expect for eyes and mouth? Is that a human? |
