So, what are your thoughts on this?

They are negotiating a deal to use 700 billion dollars of taxpayer money for this.

That is 700 billion dollars of public money and yet there are no public hearings? The public is not even involved in the deal! It's all being done in private behind closed doors!

The public should be given that money, not the banks!!

I find it scary that McCain said he would vote on the bail-out without even reading what it was.

Like that CEO from WaMu that has only been CEO for three weeks and could walk away with 18 million dollars!

I believe that there should be public hearings on this issue.

McCain said that during the debate. He said he would vote for the bailout even without reading the language.

I watched the debate and recall no such thing, however he did say he was going to vote on a plan. Meaning he would be there doing what is being paid to do as a Senator, vote yes or no on a piece of legislation with the best interest of the American taxpayer in mind. God forbid Obama have to vote one way or another!

No...more like political posturing...

It just goes to show where his (OBAMA's) priorities are...on himself ...not the nation.

CNN is Anti-McCain anyway, they are yet to have any hardcore McCain supporters on their station. It's all about Lord Obama on CNN.

Besides, what are they think by giving someone as horrid as Dana Bash a microphone and putting her TV?

Since I've posted what he said, I looked at other sites. The info. is out there.

CNN trys to remain neutral more than the other stations.

Gee what's scarier?

No public hearings or the fact that they are writing into the bill that the decisions made under the bills scope are not subject to any administrative, executive or judicial review?

Now, down the line I have to think that that language would ultimately be found unconstitutional but gosh...imagine the damage that could be done, the tax dollars that could be sucked out of all of us before that language would be found unlawful.

WTF are you people doing debating about CNN vs. FOX....

If you aren't alarmed by what's going on now you are not paying attention!!

Oh wait...you aren't

what irritates me the most is we are negotiating a bail out but i havent heard any names that are to blame for this swhole mess. I personally dont want my tax dollars doing this. some heads need to roll. let the ones who got us in this mess bail them out.
