Please, first, I'm not "into" computers. So, bear with me on the question.
Since yesterday, and only on this site, I keep getting a warning on my screen saying something like my adobe flash..whatever is attempting something from whatever site...I thought it was, again, just something with my own computer, but this morning I get to work and the same message is popping up! When I hit "ok" it goes away but then a few minutes later the warning pops up again. What do I need to do? Thanks |

stop hitting ok duh! gawd, I had to read that like 3x before I figured out what the heck you meant! If you can't help me...go play somewhere else!! |

I had this same problem! I had to go into my flash player and change the security settings, so far so good! This morning, I finally read the whole message I was getting and there's a link in there to change the settings. Good luck!

When I rebooted my computer last night it said there was an Adobe Flash Player update to be done. It said it was for High Def and a couple of other things that don't apply to me that I'm aware of, so I hit the button that said to remind me later. Must consult with my IT specialist a/k/a my ex-husband!!! I doubt I actually NEED it, but I hope it's not going to cause me issues as a result if I DON'T update!!!

Thanks y'all. I do all kinds of crap at home to my computer, so I figured I'd screwed it up (again) but here at work, I limit what I do and don't download anything except forms from the IRS & state gov'ts. So when it started happening here to........anyway, thanks again.

I found out it only pops up on this site. I was on the web for about an hr and it never did pop up.

This is the message I was getting:
Adobe flash player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation to the following local application on your computer or network: javascrpt:windows [contents] is trying to communicate withe internet=enabled location: page2ad.googlesyndication.com to allow the application communicate with the internet click settings Like I know...but I think maybe it's an ad that has been placed on the website causing this and if the settings are changed, the message stops. |

I have not come across such a message on either my PC or Mac, but will keep an eye out. I'll even check out all corners of the site, to see if it's a particular ad. Perhaps updating Adobe or changing your settings is the way to go. Wish I could shed more light on the matter.

Thank you, I changed the settings on the computer at work and it stopped, but here at home, for some reason, it's still happening...but only when I'm at this site Charles. |

Hmm, I'm not sure what else to suggest. I'll continue to try to elicit response on this site, but I'm starting to think that I won't come across it at this point (since I have not yet seen it).

It keeps happening on my computer, too, though not as often today as yesterday.
