I need to do a survey for my English class, and thought I would come here for it. I mean what better place then a bunch of people all in one community?

I really need serious answer(I know scary) for this guys.

OK so what I need to know is What your job/career is, and what is 5 main ingredients for job satisfaction.

Office Manager for a consruction company.

1. Being able to talk to your boss and he listens.

2. Pay

3. Getting along with the other employees.

4. Freedom to work at your own pace.

5. And the most important to me is when you walk out the door leave your work at work. It will be there tomorrow you can start fresh with a clear mind.

RN and I work in resource staffing for 2 hospitals

1) patient:nurse ratio
2) i love working 12 mour shifts (more days off)
3) salary rate
4) finding adequate help with turning or cleaning patients on floors where Im not used to the staff
5) feeling like i make a difference somedays

1, Ability to get along with others in very close quarters for extended periods.

2, Must be able to stand your own company.

3, Patience, there are no minutes or seconds at sea, only hours and days. Much different than on the beach.

4, A drive to learn all you can everyday.

5, Ability to accepts hardship as a personal challenge.

I change jobs quite often, but I consider my music to be my career.

My five ingredients for job satisfaction:

1) Pleasant, friendly colleagues.

2) Sense of purpose.

3) Good pay.

4) Good hours (doesn't destroy one's social life).

5) Security.

Mail processor for the U.S. Postal Service

1. Knowing that people's letters are getting to their destinations on time.

2. Salary

3. Working with some really great people

4. Knowing that I did my best to finish the work put at my machine every day.

5. I had to learn how to repair some parts of the machines after I break them.laugh laugh


(I would have said the free guns, but I already freaked someone out on here the other night with that)

(My height was a factor) slaphead

1. Has to be in bed by 8.30pm max.
2. Doesn't mind putting up with having my hair pulled and have water balloons thrown at my face.
3. Being laughed at when I trip over my huge shoes.
4. Nothing against having to wash puke from clothes after coming of the latest white knuckle ride for the 60th time

There is only 2 ingrediants for job satisfaction. Being your own boss and making a crapload of money.


Well anyways for my job: Security
1. Reliable relief.
2. A boss with common sense and some actual knowledge of the Law.
3. Property managers with common sense.
4. Change in scenery.
5. And a little bit of extra cash!
