Did anyone else see the article this morning on yahoo about Senator Clinton being a possible choice for Seceratary of State?

No, I missed it. And while I think Hilary would be really good in a lot of positions, I'm not sure I agree with this particular choice for her. I really think her strengths would be put to better use on the domestic front. She has a great interest in healthcare and social issues, Secretary of Health and Human Services, maybe?

that would be a good democratic strategy
that would if they do good almost make her a shoe in for next president what was the thought will she ----------- health and human services would be good for her but not as good for the party would not get the exposure and who would the rep have to counter with that could say they have that much foreign experience ------------- i hope he puts powell in at defense if he will take it |

I am sorry, but Having Hilary Clinton in any type of office (and yes this includes the senators position) scares the hell outta me. I have seen way too much evidence of her not giving a damn about the common citizen if it means more in her pockets.

I wonder..... the thought that comes to mind is that AMerica didn't choose Hilary as the next president... as secretary of state, if Obama is assasinated, (as good presidents seem to be over there)...would that make Hilary president?
I don't feel that is appropriate, if it is the case, and perhaps a referendum, and American people choose their back up president, would be a more equitable way to go....? |

No woman has ever stayed married when a man had affair before.  Btw, I know women that are Catholic that stayed married even when it's not good for them - just because that's what the religion requires. |
