i have never heard it called that... i guess they dont call that it here.. i do my xmas shopping away from the crouds. i have part of mine done already..

Black Friday is the day after thanksgiving that people get up in the dark(hense black friday) and wait outside stores for hours to get awesome deals on products. The day that people forget about the real meaning of christmas and push and shove each other for that last computer or dvd player is that is only 29.99

REALLY I am not understanding what black Friday is. For the Canadians Unlike Canada's thanksgiving, the U.S. Thanksgiving is always on the fourth Thursday of November and the Friday following marks the beginning of the Christmas shopping season. Retail stores run crazy specials and many people camp out all night to be the first in the stores.

Technically it is the Friday after Thanksgiving and they call it Black Friday, because that is the day of the year when stores have traditionally turned a profit, or gone into the black and out of the red ink.
