PEACE??

Jesus didnt look like the messiah. The jews were looking for a king. I mean who was Jesus?? was a humble man? a teacher? a healer?

or was he majestic king with flowing robes?

He did not fit the jewish vision of their messiah.

but was this not foretold??

I have a question.

All the words recorded that Yahshua said.

Who did he say had the most faith and why?

Blessings...Miles

Im not sure of this answer. I believe the jewish people perhaps but they dont believe jesus has come yet.

im just guessing though

Yes they say it that is true.

But they do not believe the Messiah has came yet. The temple was thier when Yahshua came.

What I am asking then is this belief you have from study or from someone just telling you that or that is what you have heard?

A Jewish historic website. Are you disputing its validity simply because you can offer no explanation? The Hebrews were sticklers for the details and kept excellent records. They were not simply going to accept any Tom, ****, or Harry as their Messiah.

Can you blame them?

There are a lot of people who claim to have excellent records and such, about the Civil War, and yet there are many different so called historians that don't know the real cause of the Civil War, and have changed quite a bit of what actually happened. Most of what is written is based solely on opinion, not from people who were actually there, but from people who wanted things to be different so looked for evidence of what they wanted to believe.
After all these years, could it not be possible that those Hebrews who run this site are doing the same way. Their info is from others who had it passed down from generation to generation. It all was passed down from someone who chose to reject Christ. Their info is not coming from someone who is neutral. It is from someone who was biased, when they passed it on, with that same biased.
My sources, the Bible, which is just as reliable, alot more reliable, all find that Jesus meets all of the propehcies to be the Messiah, every one of them. The chances of that are out of this world for one man to meet them all.
As for the personal qualifications. What personal qualifications? Whose personal qualifications? Gods, the Hebrew Priests? The only qualifications that matter are God's, and the prophecies are those qualifications.
What mistranslations are we talking about? Are we talking about the New Testament? The Hebrews don't even acknowledge the New Test. as part of the Bible, so of course they will say that.
What does a national revelation have to do with it? What revelation are you talking about?

So now you are ONLY going to use the bible to authenticate Jesus as Messiah? Answer this question for me. Why do we still have Judaism and Christianity today? Why not only Christianity if everything lined up and the Jews were willing to accept Jesus? That should be easy enough for you to answer right? Since you seem to now feel that the Jews have no reason to not accept Jesus as Messiah yet they still continue to refer to him as fraud.

Why would I need to use anything else? And I am not using only the Bible, I am listening to the Holy Spirit. The Bible says that the Holy Spirit would reveal the truth to us. Of course, we have to have an open heart for this to happen.
The reason, for the two religions, is because the Jews did not get what they wanted in the Messiah, as I have already said. That did not mean Jesus wasn't the Messiah, just becasue He was not what they wanted. I wanted my ex to be a different type of man, that didn't make it a fact. They were looking for a Warrior King, not a man with a servants heart, who was mild, and meek, and humble. That is why we have Judaism and Christianity. The same way you choose not to believe, they choose not to believe, and many still choose not to believe. There are many Jewish converts, that now choose Christianity. I have a very good friend that is Jewish, but is a Christian. You will always have people that choose to reject the truth, for whatever reason. That doesn't make them right in there beliefs. Just makes it a fact. And they don't refer to him as a fraud, they refer to him as simply a prophet, who was a good man. A fraud would have nothing good in him would he?

The fact remains, they did not accept him as Messiah. If they had, they would have abandoned their faith for Christianity. Judaism remains one of the three largest established Mediterranean based religions.

Some of them did accept Him as a Messiah. Don't forget about them.

So you are saying that I can not use Jewish/Hebrew historical reference yet you can utilize the bible? What do you think Judaism is exactly?

Can you tackle ANY of these questions or no? And obviously the Jewish Messianic criteria was not merely that Jesus be a warrior, as demonstrated. My 5 reasons did not even touch on that. That is a Christian stand by.

Thats fine almost all believe this. See what Yahshua said.

Matt 26:59-64
9 Now the chief priests, the elders, and all the council sought false testimony against Yahshua to put Him to death, 60 but found none. Even though many false witnesses came forward, they found none. But at last two false witnesses came forward 61 and said, "This fellow said,'I am able to destroy the temple of Yahweh and to build it in three days.'"

Notice they are speaking of the Temple of Yahweh.

62 And the high priest arose and said to Him, "Do You answer nothing? What is it these men testify against You?" 63 But Yahshua kept silent. And the high priest answered and said to Him,"I put You under oath by the living Yahweh: Tell us if You are the Messiah, the Son of Yahweh!"

He is now put under oath. Yahsua spoke about oaths.

He answered then.

64 Yahshua said to him, "It is as you said. Nevertheless, I say to you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven."
NKJV

Now Yahshua just now said Yes I am the Promiced Messiah.

He also confirmed he would destroy the Temple and next they would see him coming in the clouds of Heaven.

Nothing about another temple.

Matt 12:6-8
6 Yet I say to you that in this place there is One greater than the temple . 7 But if you had known what this means, 'I desire mercy and not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the guiltless.
NKJV

Mercy and sacrafice he does not want.

What need of a Temple.

He is greater than the Temple.

He rose and later the Physical temple was destroyed.

In the Mean Time the Holy Spirit came and recided in Man.

Again no need for a Temple. Yahweh's Holy Spirit only came on certain people before for a certain message.

Then what did the temple become?

Us made without hands.

Nothing could be more perfect.

So why the need for a Temple again?

A Temple for satans son who he gives power to the beast.

Then the Beast stands up and says he is Elohim.

Just like Yahshua saying he was the Messiah and his power only came from his father.

Satan Mocking. But he can not stand up in the Temple of Yahweh. We are the Temple of Yahweh.

So he has to stand up in another Temple.

Who's temple is on the Temple Mount?

Then who are these people?

These people have always believed they were cheated and still say so today.

That they are the real children of Abraham because Ishmael was the 1st Born and he should of got the promice.

But Ishmael was not the Child of Promice to Abraham.

It was Isaac.

Do you see what I am saying...Blessings...Miles

I didn't say you could not use it, I just said I didn't have to believe it. Historical references are not always reliable. The Bible is not a Historical reference. It is, as far as I'm concerned a statement of fact. History can be changed, the Word of God, in 2,000 years, has never changed. Amazing if you ask me.

I have takled all of the questions, except the last, because there wasn't any specific revelation mentioned. I'm sure there were many Jewish criteria, but again, the majority of those were man made criteria, so unless they go along with God's criteria, they don't matter. There is no stand by, whatever that means. The fact remains is that the Jewish people, as a whole were looking for someone to come in and get rid of the Roman rulers that were making their lives hard and miserable. That was the biggest rejection they had for Jesus.

I am not sure what you mean when you ask the question about what do I think Judaism is. It is the religion of the Jewish people. I have to get to work now sorry I can't stay and chat more. God bless you despite yourself!!

You should choose to use whatever resources are available to you. To simply stick your nose in the bible and misinterpret it to your own satisfaction is your choice but then I can not discuss one topic with you as it relates to religion. Pretty much every time I have asked you a question or to address something specific, you avoid it and argue. It has not gone unnoticed. I am not trying to fight with you at all but you always put up this defensive posture and you are so worried about protecting your beliefs.

If your faith was so strong it should not matter and you should be willing to look at the reasons WHY the Jews even to this day have a list of grievances with Jesus Christ only about a mile long. He is certainly not the Messiah and they perceive the Christians as wrong to blindly accept that he is.

I think we probably have Judaism and Christianity because the Jews STILL do not believe Jesus was the son of god, nor the Messiah. Your "truth" is not the same as their "truth." Nor is my "truth" the same as your "truth." I may not be a believer in Christianity, Judaism or Islam but that does not make my spirituality any less valid than whatever you choose to accept on faith. (and with no research)

You have yet to answer or speak to any of the Hebraic points of contention with Jesus by the way. Its still a genuine issue and that is why we have the two religions today.

Well why would I believe ONLY what the bible has to say about Jesus? Isnt that a little biased?

You have not even attempted to answer one of these issues and keep insisting that it is not based in fact because it is not in the bible. I am telling you it is taken from Jewish revelation yet that is not good enough for you. That is quite disrespectful.

I understand exactly what you are saying. and mthw 26, that verse is the same passage i was reading last night.

(prophecy as He was being sentenced to death)

and I also understand that this temple is not needed to worhsip the Lord., this temple will cause much bloodshed...between descendants. But then is all the 'current events' today becoming fulfilled prophecies.

the temple is currently where the dome resides and it where primarily muslims worship. although i believe that this does not make the jewish people very happy at all.

Now i think thats just silly. God is in my heart. I do not need a temple to worship the father and his son. My body is the temple.

Then when it is they get ready the messiah is close to come.

Yahshua said He would come as a thief in the night.. To watch.

They are watching for the temple.

God promises to make Isaac's descendants as numerous as "the stars of heaven", which, of course, never happened. The Jews have always been, and will always be, a small minority group.
