If somebody told you that they would give you a million dollars if you jumped out of a plane with a parachute would you do it. Here's the catch though..On board the plane there are 20 parachutes and one of them has lead in it. You get to pick the parachute of your choice but remember one has lead in it and you will fall to your death if you pick that one...Would you take that challenge for a million dollars?

the difference in weight between silk and lead is very significant so i would trust my chioce in parachutes |

okay, lets leave the lead out...say its a empty parachute thats bag weighs the same as a normal parachute yet you can't look inside of them...Would you still do it?

I'd push everyone else out parachuteless, then make a deal with the pilot... of course...

If someone says I'll give you a million dollars but there is a 5% chance I will kill you if you take it. That's what you're asking. A one in 20 is a 5% chance of death. No way. I've spent enough time at the card table and I've seen enough long shots come out to know that would be a fools gamble. I'm assuming your OP doesn't have a catch, like being able to look in the bag for the lead or the plane already being on the ground. |
