Do you get a xmas party where you work??? Do they give bonuses??????
Our company xmas party........you have to pay to go BOWLING!!!  and buy all of your drinks and food etc. Im not going!!! This is a huge company and I have to pay????? and its in the next town. We dont get bonuses here either BAH HUMBUG!!!

i work for a small company..and were being taken out to a bar/restaurant----zzzzzzzz. I think Id rather go home, but ill be corgial and go

My company is giving us a xmas party tonight...Its the first one we've ever had...We dont get anything extra...well if you dont count the coffee cup they handed out as gifts...

Where I work, we get our holiday pay the first check of December (13 of them) woo hooo......then, they have a christmas party for the kids at the bowling alley and they pay for everyone to bowl 2 games and their shoe rental and food.
Then, they have a Christmas party for the adults in the evening. Lots of fun!! |

I work for a huge school corporation and we get a photographed letter saying thank you for all of your hard work. We, the staff, has a carry in. No bonus. The principals here do buy Panera bagels and muffins. My other job buys us all a box of expensive chocolates. He is a small time business employer. Go figure
|

We get a ton of chocolates and cookies etc from patients families but after the first 900 boxes you get a little sick of them!!

hmmm for Christmas there are layoffs ... or more work for less money ...
The jury is still out on which side of the equation is really getting the bonus ... I am inclined to think the ones getting laid off ... very toxic work environment Wonder if I am getting a bonus this year ...
