So many women are very vain and wont give some guys even the slightest chance because there not six three tan and full of muscles. If you look average and have a totally awesome personality is this acceptable?

Not all women are like that...6'3", tan and full of muscle may be good to some people,but we are living in the real world. I, myself likes a guy with the personality instead of the looks.

In my experience, women (on dating sites and in real life) are only looking for men within a very narrow (suffocatingly so, in my opinion) spectrum of behavior/personality type.

it matters to some people how hot the other person is...but i think most people just want somebody they relate well with and are comfortable with.

Women who are looking for that type of guy you don't want anyway, eventually they will wind up alone.

Some people are too over the top with their expectations, I mean yeah looks are somewhat important but a good personality is what matters most. Just because someone looks hot doesn't always mean they're better. Just my opinion.

I'd rather be with an average looking guy with a stellar personality than an asshole-Adonis! Personality wins overall, but who's to say you can't be attractive AND be a cordial individual?

the problem is, is that supply doesn't equal demand.sure women want a hot man with a great personality,if they said they didnt then go and read the thread on "women and men who is a bigger liar?"same with men we want a naturally hot lookin woman with a great personality,but once again supply doesn't meet demand.so the ole saying beauty is in the eye of the beholder,will make up for our misfortunes.

ya it sucks nice guys don't get the girls anymore that isn't true! I know lots of nice guys that got the girl. how far are willing to go to get her attention. Just being nice doesn't cut it anymore. Looks are important to a certain respect but they will fade over time. so personality is so much more important to me at least. JMO

A lot of average looking females can't get attention from nice guys as the nice guys are too busy looking at the "vain" women as meat to win, and then boo-hoo'ing that they can't find a "quality" WOMAN!!! No sympathy coming from over here!!!

ya it sucks nice guys don't get the girls anymore ***holes get the women. Most women I've came across in the past few years are very shallow, selfish, career/money oriented people. Us normal looking guys get looked past for the more "in the now fashion" preppy guys most of the time.
