Okay we are only a week away from Christmas maybe you have that certain one you don't know what to buy them.

Or money is tight and you really want to be able to give your friends and family something that would really let them know you put a lot of thought in to the gift you choose for them.

Actually when someone takes the time to create a unique gift to give each person something that they not only would they enjoy but would actually be within your budget.

There are several different ideas one can do with a budget for you see a gift from the heart and being a little creative at times you would be surprised at what one could come up with.

I will start this out with a suggestion then lets see what great ideas others have.

This is a great idea for those that like Chili

Buy a Stew Pot or Pottery Casserole Dish

Then fill it with theses items:

Assorted dried beans kidney, white, navy, pinto ect.. Myself I use the Navy Beans and put in 2 bags.

Dried Red Chili Peppers

Chili Powder, Cayenne Pepper, Cumin & Cilantro

A few Chili Recipes

Ladle

Oven Mitt

Can wrap it with the color cellophane paper with the excess paper at the top tie ribbon around the excess and put a bow on it.

So keep it in mind what is something you could give as a gift that would be within a budget and make a great gift idea to give?

Share some of your budget Christmas gift idea for others to try out.

REGIFTING.......................

True say you were given a gift card you never used or still had gifts from last year that was never used. Just make sure you don't give those things back to the one that gave them to you.laugh

Here is a great idea for those that like to fish.

Buy a tackle box then fill it with

Assorted Lures
Weights
Pliers
Gloves
With directions to local Fishing Spots.

Okay.....people will think this is really cheap, and it is....inexpensive that is.

I go to Dollar Tree, everything for a dollar, and pick out a cute basket and fill it with hand lotions, body wash, scrubbing pouf inflatible neck pillow...etc. They have lots of different scents to choose from and then they have their own version of a bath set from one of the expensive stores.

I have friends, a couple, who are very hard to buy for, they can afford anything they want and at this stage of their life, want for very little. However, there are 'treats' they both enjoy that they indulge in every so often. I got a basket and filled the basket with their favorite candies, cookies, a coffee blend she especially likes, sugar-free treats and trail mix he loves for him as he is diabetic, hot chocolate and a couple of mugs. It is relatively inexpensive, but it tells them I've been paying attention all year long to what they especially liked.

I love making the Dollar Tree baskets...the baked goodie baskets...the movie theme baskets (gift card for a couple of movie rentals, microwave popcorn, theater size candy, etc...)...

This year, I made Native American art & jewelry...also made cute signs out of the old weathered fencing in our back yard... For the bathroom: a dry-brushed white-washed sign with lots of nail holes bearing the saying "Life's a Beach" & seashells...it's fun to make something out of nothing!

I figure that since Idon't actually use them I would make something nice for my Grandma....

She is 98 so I am sure that she will just smell them and say that they are beautiful...(She is blind as a bat so this should work)
