I doubt I would recognize love if it bit me on my tushy. So many walls to break down. Climb over, etc. etc. I just try to take each day as a blessing and see what happens. When????????

Just turned 51 this past Dec. Does anyone believe you can find love at this age, or is it just frienship with a twist? Welcome Sandy!!!  I am glad you have joined our little group of 50 and over! Yes, you can find love at any age, your heart and mind have to be open. The only draw back is we are a little more picky at this age. My opinion(you know everyone has one) I would prefer friendship first, that makes a good foundation for any relationship. I agree with you and personally never lose hope. |

I haven't been expecting it for 8 years now ..... how long does it take? My sister keeps telling me I have to go through a bunch to find one good one, but who has time?? And who wants to go through all that? |

I think a person can definitely love more than one person (at different times). I have 2 exes and was in love with both at one time. I also think it is easier to live with someone you like rather than someone you love (but don't really like --- #1)!! Will love come again? I'm beginning to doubt (I know be patient!) You know billie, it's really not up to us. We just like to think it is.

We all reach a point in life where "love" has different meanings. Least way for me, huge differance & lots of other things; have a huge bearing on the "whats & hows".

I think love will come my way again,I also think everyones search would be a lot easier if people used more morals and ethics,I also believe if you show people respect you will get it in return..just a thought.
