I think love will come my way again,I also think everyones search would be a lot easier if people used more morals and ethics,I also believe if you show people respect you will get it in return..just a thought. Welcome Frito, Glad to have you join the 50 and over forum. A lot of nice people here. Stick around an post often to let us get to know you. Have fun! Just turned 51 this past Dec. Does anyone believe you can find love at this age, or is it just frienship with a twist? It has to be love if you're over 50 and playing Twister. We can always count on you to pop in with a good one. :)

Why do people think they have to be married? (Especially past the child baring age.) It takes a lifetime to get to know a person and become compatible. Older people don't have that kind of time left to be ironing out all their differences and making each other's lives miserable. I think people should put that idea behind them and take the rest of their life to discover who they really are and what they really want to do instead of thinking they can find themselves in another person. If you think you have to find a mate to be happy, then you are living with the brainwashing job that society and our parents have pounded into our heads our entire lives. I know people who say they are lonely. Being alone is a choice. Being lonely only happens when you build a wall around your heart and block everyone out and then feel sorry for yourself because nobody loves you. Try loving someone without expecting anything in return. Try being happy with yourself. Do something that will make you feel good about yourself and be happy. Don't worry, be happy. </end of spastic sermon>
