Maybe they could make it so a membrr could opt in as to whether you want to be "verified" or not... and maybe pay a small one-time fee for that verification. Then your profile would show as "verified" or not.

Driver License Number... then they could check your Name, Location, Age and physical description. I think it would also be enough for Mingle2 to check for criminal background to screen for sexual preditors, domestic violence, DUI, Probation, etc.

That way they could still remain a free sight and offer the option to each member to be verified. And if one fails the verification, their profile would not show as verified... but I don't think they should disclose the purpose for not being verified... right to privacy.

That way when we view a profile, even in the forums (maybe an icon that shows verified or not), then we would know that if the show as verified, they have passed the identity and background check. If their profile does not show as verified, we can either assume that they did not qualify for verification, or they opted not to get verified. Then it is up to those of us who may be interested to decide if we want to take a chance with that person or not.

I think it might work.... what do you think??

Do you really want to give away personal information on the internet?
Even if we trust the site, and the owners, I would not be comfortable with that thought

It sounds like a good idea but what about those that choose to opt out of that, but are real and genuine? I would worry that some of those people would be accused of being fake, only because they either didn't want to do chose that option.

i'm on another site that in order to be verified you must take a picture of yourself in front of your computer with your profile on the screen while holding up a sign with your profile name and site name on it.
it works out pretty good.

this works

music man is not someone anyone would want to copy. He is a piece of shiit that waste his life on forums

Correction: A piece of sh!t who isn't afraid to be real.

If you're going to insult me, the least you can do is do it right.

dude. You're real of course. You're a loser on a forum commenting using a fag color. Who would want your sad pathetic life?rofl rofl rofl

Even us trolls feel sorry for you.

Your arguing with a troll and LOSING! HA

But my sad, pathetic life has merit, unlike yours. Only chickensh!t lowlifes like you hide behind a screen, afraid to show yourself.

This still allows them to "butt in" and try to get under the skin of others. We as humans, tend to get up in arms when verbally attacked. You know this to be a weakness of our nature.

If just everyone would ignore it wouldn't be a problem, but as long as people respond the troll wins.

Jim, you know you can't have a battle of wits with an unarmed person. This idiot would bring a knife to a gunfight.

It is a simple solution and doesnt involve giving out your drivers license number or any information It says when you join right on the bottom of the pic.

 If you try to tell others you will get called a liar by their friend/accomplices.

That depends entirely on the listener.
