I think everyone makes mistakes. I want to know everyones opinion on
cheating. I think anything outside of being highly intoxicated is an
intentional act and even then its questionable.

no matter how you look at it, cheating is cheating. its not tolerable
and you can forgive, but you will never forget. so the relationship is
through after that. after the trust barrier is broke, its never the same

cheating isn't a mistake, it's intentional and to me unforgivable as far
as the relationship goes.

I have been on both sides. Not proud of it. I don't think there is any
excuse for someone who cheats. I think if a person cheats then its
over!!! No matter what situation they put themselves in. Something in
the relationship is missing and you should move on before you cheat....
It hurts less that way.

My ex cheated on me......then she cheated with a married man after
leaving me……so from where I stand Once a cheater always a cheater at
least when it comes to her…..

I think once one has lowered themselves, lowered their honor and proved
themselves to being that kind of dishonorable piece of crap that cheats
on the one they promised to be loyal too and that promise was to their
love, their friends and family, to themselves and above all to GOD
himself there is no returning to being a honorable and up standing
person after cheating.

But I could be wrong

I truly wished that my ex-wife had had the balls (Well I am glad she had
no balls but you get what I am talking about) to end our marriage first
and then move on to what ever……

At 40 + I have never cheated on anyone. So, form that it’s safe to say
never a cheater is never a cheater. AT least when it come to me it is
safe to say that.

Been around this block before, we both cheated, got help & had a
stronger relatioship for it. Not all can forgive & go on. We did.

If one truly loves as it should be...there would never be a
discussion...yet I too have cheated..early in adult life with someone I
later realized that I did not love.. The two that I loved purely... that
thought was never entertained long enough to happen. I absolutely am
engrossed in adoration too much to even want anyone or anything else...
but I am weird like that..
Even as the relationships hurts brought them to an end...adoration
gone yet still... EVERYTHING IS SUBJECTIVE...
I was now I am not so no just because you have does not mean
you will again.Peace

You can forgive but it is always there.... Intoxication is no excuse.
You have to be conscious of your actions in order to do the act. If you
truly cared about the other person you would never but yourself in a
compromising situation. Now for your question... don't know wasn't long
before we split up.

I agree Mike...If you love someone enough it just won't happen...You
won't cheat on them period....Because it never enters your mind to do
so...Compromising position or not....I have been in lots and used my
mouth to say NO!!!!!!!!!!

Mistakes are when you forget to pick up the milk on the way home.
Cheating isn't a mistake. It is an intentional act of pure selfishness.
There isn't an excuse for the behavior. The person doesn't have to
cheat. Person A can either remain true to their relationship or set
Person B free to pursue happiness w/ another who can love Person B the
way he/she deserves.

I believe once a cheater always a cheater. I think there are very few
exceptions. Donot understand cheating, seems like you could comunicate
and tell your partner what you are missing then discuss whether your
partner could provide that or not, how important it is, etc...If not-
make a decision to split and move on.
