never understood why there would be a problem with men and women being and remaining friends. be honest be upfront but then again I think life is simple 
I guess alot of people think all men want to snag all good lookin women, but thats just not true. Some of us got older and deeper

This is how I saw it. Were I to offer friendship and only friendship, and you (or any man) has a problem with just remaining friends, it's you with the problem not me.

That would be a lack of command of the english language on his part. Or maybe he just wasn't listening to you. Some women will do that too though... |

I, for one, am beginning to believe to think that men and women can't be friends. The whole potential dating predatory thing happens too often with friends of the other gender. I'm also beginning to think that being friends with ex's is also not a good thing, as the issues with what broke things up in the first place will eventually show up. You should avoid "being friends" with your X spouse. That does not mean you have to hate each other. You want to neutralize them. They are no more to you than anyone else you might meet. Mutual respect is the best thing ... if they deserve it. But you must command respect and cut all ties to past history, personal and legal matters included. |

I have worked in places where it was mainly women and I was apparently not only sleeping with a lot of the s, but willing to sleep with anyone. I let it slide because I didn't want to tell a person to their face or tell other people that most of them were too crazy for me to even think about dating.

Don't know if it is because:
A. I had all brothers, so B. I had no sister(s) C. I'm a tomboy D. Had a lot of sexual tension all my life And, most likely all of them at play. I've always understood and hung out w/ guys, more than women. Esp. catty women, I just CAN'T/DON'T WANT To get that type - and it seems to include a great many. (I might take hill for that one!  )
I do echo Gypsy's comment, still get's a lot of sexual come-on from the lads. Reckon it is just a cute part of the dance! SOME of those friendships have ended up in relationships too. Nicest part, the friendships outlasted the relationships. It is more than possible, it is to be encouraged. |
