How many feel they can have their hearts broken here? In other words, do you believe this place to be a real foundation for a real relationship with someone. Or do you just play here and take nothing to heart?

If its kept strictly online, probably not. However, if things move from online to im to phone to real life, absolutely, happened to me. Got over it and now we are friends.

id be serious about it if someone was serious with me here. Thus far no go. So i pretty much play. but again if someone were to try to start a relationship here id be all bout it.

I just play here and take nothing to heart. I let myself get played by someone from here once, and once was enough. Don't need for it to happen again for it to finally sink in!

I joined strickly to have people to chat with. I had no other expectations. I've gone from email, to phone with someone from here with plans to meet in the someday near future. If it goes well, kudos for me! If not I can live with it.

Speaking from personal experience, you can't be on here to look for a full-on "relationship", as the chances of that stuff not working is just too great. You can be here to chat and otherwise chew-the-grass, but the whole "dating" thing would be quite an iffy proposition.

I think your view is the way to THINK when on here.. I wasn't really looking for one on here either, but it happened. So yes, this can be a place that leads to a serious relationship. I would definately say that it's a very rare occasion that it happens though.
