I'm more seperated than all those women with ex's that were never married to those ex's. You know the kind. At least the one I'm seperated from is on the left coast. Lawyer's been paid for since October and now heading into 3 month territory to not even needing her signature so my take is the big \/\/hatever, make sure your x's are really x's, married or not x's.

Dateing someone "Seperated" is emotional suicide. They aren't really ready to move on and you are getting walking wounded. I know there will be a lot of people who will come up with every excuse about how it doesn't apply to them. But; if you talk to them 2-3 years after the divorce is final, they will tell you it is right.

Wow glad to say this is so wrong especially for my situation. Feel free to ask me what you think I went through. My marriage did not work, picked up and left, didn't file for divorce because I just didn't. Never went back, never looked back, never lied to anyone interested. So please tell me how dating some 'separated' is emotional suicide?

A friend of mine came across a study that says the separated parties need one month apart for every year the relationship (this includes time together before the marriage) before they should be considered a canidate for dating.

I've never married.
Am I lucky or smart?

Also the ring does come off....
I found out after the fact a couple of times I was banging a married woman...
I didn't know when I was getting it so I don't feel like a bastard...

Nuff said!
Also had friends who would claim separation to get some strange only to dump the girl in the end and go back to number one.
People are just f*cked up strange and self centered sometimes.
Marriage isn't worth the words or paper it is written on.
The real commitment lies between the two involved and if one, the other or both are out and about on the marriage then I basically call it a dead marriage and he or she are free to do as they want but likewise also expect to be absorbed into the drama like you were algae and it was a hungry amoeba. Gobble gobble!!!! BURP!!!! YUMMMMMMM!!

Shoooooooooooooooooooooo...........

I prefer to avoid those situations but then again if she is really all that then ABO!!!!!!
devil
Nothing in life is fair!
Neither is love!!!!!!!!!!

P.S.
ABO = All Bets Off!

Someone merely separated is not ready to date yet. My general rule is a year or do after divorce, but separation does not mean divorced. Show me the papers!

He** No....I must have been a challenge, and apparently it showed......I didn't even like the male species, after being married for 10 yrs...1st husband was NOT a prime candadate, for fatherhood..

I delete these characters immediately. I care about my feelings. I just reminded one tonight that adultery is in the Ten Commandments and I'm not a Holier Than Thou type. I'll answer to a Higher Calling and I'm going to be held accountable for that one.
A really cute cop contacted me a while back and forgot he wrote he was separated. When I mentioned it, he thanked me and deleted it immediately. Those are the ones that slip. We have to keep our radar up when they don't say anything. Guys run into those romantic casualties, we all do.
I've got better things to do then head for pain, anyway.
