ok seamonster....i think i'm understanding what you are saying (not my belief but that's ok...we all have different beliefs....obviously lol) ok (playing middle man for a second) people that believe in a higher power (whatever that may be to them) rely on faith in their beliefs....but can't explain where that higher power came from (an arguement of science) people that rely on science can't prove where the "dot came from" so at some point....it's unknown (an arguement of believers of a higher power) ***note...not all people that believe in a higher power believe in creationism. i'm just trying to make the above easier have i got this pretty close? yep. And even if the big bang and the singularity and all that is true, that does not mean that there is no god. It pretty much proves the christian god false, but there still can be a god of some sorts. |

Creation is not a theory..... Creation is not a theory because it's not Science! Creation cannot be tested, it can't be proven, it's just a statement. Creation doesn't explain anything, it just gives people a reason to remain ignorant. At this point(as I have posted before) it has been proven, that Creationism/ Intelligent Design is nothing more than an attempt to force religion into the public school system. Ohhhh this is to priceless.....interesting though....as it is not allowed at all into the public schools... Yes, Creationism/ID is not in school, but it has attempted to force it's way into schools, thru the legal system. Each time, it's attempt has failed. Rightfully so. It does not belong in a secular classrooms being taught by teachers who wouldn't know where to begin when bombarded with questions. By the same token. Evolution does not belong in the classroom either - because all the students get are conjecture and presumption in response to their questions - leading these children to grow up assuming there exists factual evidence for the Religion of Evolution, when none actually exists. We have numerous cases of this all over these threads. Keep Creationism out of the schools - and get rid of Evolution in the science classes. There's nothing scientific about it. |

can someone PLEASE answer me the question i keep posting???? I'm trying to understand things (with a fried brain lol) let's assume evolution is correct....what started the whole thing DNA or some kind of micro programing in everything. but where did the first of first things come from to make everything Look up Abiogenesis. That will give you an idea what the premise of Evolutionary Theory is. |

I'm not up on the evolutary theory, but I do think things evolve to adapt to their surrounding and climate I do to within a species... But was a cat ever a cow, was a dog ever a turtle. What I would like to see is people taking the original OP and answering for themselves from the original. Don't go off on your own lil jaunt to prove a point.... Thats not evolution. A cat turning into a cow would disprove evolution. it makes as much sense as me coming from an ape or chimp....you guys still aren't sure amongst yourselves which one.. You have been told this dozens of times. We did not evolve from chimps. No-one that understands evolution is saying that. That is a lie that christians have come up with to try and discredit it out of an irrational fear. Actually - it is saying that, even though they deny it. Yet - one of the so called "proofs" is that the second strand of DNA on the human Chromo is the "fused" Chromo that links the 48 chromo Chimp to the 46 Chromo of man. Looks an awful lot like that "common anscestor" was an Ape to me. |

Now you want to again put us and/or God in a Christian box.....God is God and that is that. And people say God is Love and no matter what I do he will always love me...And this is 100% accurate God will always love you no matter what. But just like our Fathers God is the Father of all, and you misbehave or sin...God is not going to let you get away with that...Why? because he does love you. And just like our father. God the Father gives us laws to live by break the law and suffer the consequence. Does this mean that God doesn't love us....No it's just means you have to live as God wants not as you yourself want...Is that an easy thing to do....NOPE hardest thing ever...But it is the way it is. Then to say that the earth was created by a big bang in which flossom fell from the sky and into the water so on and so on.....Well if this planet was just a massive nothiness where did the water come from, where and how did this flossom fall in the water, and did it's thing which included us turning from a primate into us...And if so why are the primates still here. And if we branched off from the primate again why would that be. It makes no sense why that would happen in the first place. Now you want to again put us and/or God in a Christian box.....God is God and that is that. And people say God is Love and no matter what I do he will always love me...And this is 100% accurate God will always love you no matter what. But just like our Fathers God is the Father of all, and you misbehave or sin...God is not going to let you get away with that...Why? because he does love you. And just like our father. God the Father gives us laws to live by break the law and suffer the consequence. Does this mean that God doesn't love us....No it's just means you have to live as God wants not as you yourself want...Is that an easy thing to do....NOPE hardest thing ever...But it is the way it is. And logic it to death, call it so unfair, and say that can't be love. But it is... And no matter how bad you are....God is a forgiving God. And if you look at it like that instead of being selfish because you want to do whatever the heck you want to do......well again this is why God created us with freewill...He wants you to come to him of that freewill....And if you do and give yourselves completely to the Lord.....WOW you can't explain to someone what having the Holy Spirit or the Lord in your life means....You either have it or you don't. Does this mean that life is always a bowl of cherries, NOPE you will always have trials and tribulations in life. But I know at least for me that having the Lord in my life....I am so beyond blessed. We just had to close the doors of our company after 55 years in business.....Do I fear for what may happen....no I do not because I know the Lord will never forsake me and for whatever tribulations come along..there is always a purpose and always to glorfy God. First of all yes, it makes perfect sense that we evolved from a primate state to what we are today and that there are still monkeys. Again that is the religious lie. And anyone that that understands evolution would know that. And then you say that if we "sin" which could mean being a generous and kind person that helps others and is loveing and careing our entire lives we will burn forever in pain and torment because we did'nt believe in that god. O.K. you call that loveing, I call it insanity. It's like my kid getting strait A's in school and I beat him severly because he did'nt praise me for bringing him into the world so he could get those A's. No it will never make sense...because they are still here and so are we......if we evolve it's to go ahead of what were were previously because environment or whatever......If you want to believe you came from an ape....well you have fun with that.... While you are harping on thinking that anyone least of all God wants you to burn in hell damnation...well it's just not true. This is what the Lord says: The Lord says that there is nothing that you can do to make Him love you more. There is nothing you could do to make Him love you any less. He loves you because He loves you, because He loves because He loves you because He loves you because He loves you. Because that is what He (The Lord) is like. It is his nature to love. His love is unchanging He loves you 100% He wont like you any better when you become better He loves you 100% If you don't ever change He still loves you If you don't walk with Him, He will still love you Because that is who He is. Are you realy that dumb? Realy? I (and many others) many many times have told you that WE DID NOT EVOLVE FROM APES!!!!! I realy do not know how to break that down to where you can understand it. You ask the same questions over and over again and make the same statements over and over again even after they have been answerd over and over again. You either can not or will not learn. I could explain why there are still monkeys AGAIN but you will either not understand it or refuse to and then ask the same question and make the same statement again. You can not understand science,do not try, stick to your bible,it's simple. there is no actual thinking or learning involved. I rest my case. |
