My ex is taking me back to court over the custody of our son. She recently started hanging out with another one of my ex's. I think they are conspiring together to try to take joint custody away from me. It is driving me crazy, and I don't know what to do. I mean like mental institution crazy, and I don't have anyone to talk to right now cuz all of my friends are celebrating my bestfriend's b-day, and I am at work going nuts. If anyone had anything that they think might help I would really apprciate it.

Stop thinking for a start, thats where the paranoia sets in...If you have done nothing that may jeopardise losing joint custody of your son, then trust that you will keep that joint custody...All the best to you...

First of all you are at work... Let it go, there is nothing you can do about it til Monday at least then you can contact your attorney. If she has no grounds then it is hot air and nothing more in this day and age it is really hard to take a father's rights away. Since most courts love the joint custody thing.

My son's mother is impossible to have a conversation with. I do need to talk to my other ex, but I don't know how to approach her about this.

You currently have custody of your son and there is a reason for that. Capitalize on that reason and face her in court to reiterate that reason. You have done nothing wrong and your ex is just shooting off her mouth...no worries!

Its very hard I know...but keep in mind that Judges know a lot about things like this and can read between the lines.

Have you been served with papers? If not, don't worry about it til then. Could be she's just blowing off steam about something. If you have been served with papers, put it in your attorney's hands. flowerforyou

keep your attorney close by.
He's the only one who can realistically advise you of your chances or options.

I agree with the guys...you will only hurt yourself overthinking this one. Be a good man. Be a responsible man. That is the best thing you can do.

Ex's hunhh?....not a good thing bro...let's hope you got a limited number of those.

Why are you so worried? Are you worried about something that you have done in the past, or the present. If its in the past, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

On the other hand, if something has happend recently............
STOP.....and realize what you have to lose.

Other than that, just the thought of losing custody, is an agonizing
thought..flowerforyou

Consult you're fears to you're attorney....Good Luck...smile2
