Because they alway want to know WHY you're not interested. Then they think of something mean to say back. Just LET IT GO and move one people!

Andrew,

The above comment illustrates the type of girls who you should avoid contacting on mingle!!!

When the right one comes along, you'll know it. Meanwhile, the stuck up self-centered ones are actually doing you a favor by not responding or wasting your time.

I think that if you take the time to mail someone then the very least you should expect is a reply even if it's just to say thanks but i'm not interested in you, least you know to move onto someone else.

I take the view that if someone doesnt care about ur feelings and realise that it can take a lot for some people to show some courage to contact someone in the first place then they are obviously not worth worrying over.

Or maybe some people think they are better than. God created everyone equal the last time i checked

That ^^^ is an example of why I don't respond to most random email, regardless of the content.

There is always someone who doesn't like the response -- if it isn't the response they were wanting.

In other words, if girl writes back to say 'thanks but no thanks' the message from the guy comes back 'well i didn't really want you anyway, don't think so high of yourself'. If the girl doesn't reply, she 'thinks she's better than ....'

Not writing back saves me the bother.

Me too !!! I don't understand ... this is a "mingle" site ... people are supposed to be open minded ... since I joined ... I found alot of people don't reply or read their email ... I never send any offendsive emails ... I thought even if people are not interested, at least say "no thanks" ... my believes is to keep an open mind, be polite and make new friends ... even I don't have a photo, doesn't mean I can't "mingle" and make new friends right? but since I joinned this site, I hardly make any new friend (just discover the community to voice my opinion)... Make new friends, meet singles and "mingle"? I don't think it is as easy as some people may think...

Why is it so difficult for a person not to respond back to a email even if it is to say that i am not interested. laugh

While I try to reply to everyone who emails me, not everyone will do that. No response is your response. People stop replying, because some people will get angry and rude when they're told someone is not interested.

I get at least one mail a day that says one of the following:

"Hi"

"Wanna chat"

"nice smile"

I used to reply to these, but 99% of the time ended up being insulted, asked for sex, or worse. I needed to block them most times, and a couple of instances they stalked me in the threads and created drama.

If anyone sends me a sincere, thoughtful mail I will reply. But I also placed an explanation of such in my profile. Not that anyone reads it.....

It doesn't really have to do with that. If the person sending the email puts a little effort into it, they'll get more responses.

Is somebody not getting enough fiber in their diet?

Anywho, it's chill... We all know she's your lady... No need for the macho act. I wasn't flirting or insulting her. I was joking in response to the grade school or kindergarten remark....

Yeeeeeesh!

If so, a smiley would've been appropriate. JMO....

Dear Lilith, your opinion is highly appreciated, but what you do not know is that all this week I've been mingling not on my PC, but rather on my T-Mobile sidekick as I have been taking my dad to the hospital for his chemo therapy, other doctors' appointments and staying with him al day watching him slowly wither away and so mingling is my only source of entertainment. The reaon I'm mentioning this is not for sympathy, but to point out that on the sidekick the smileys don't work. I click on them and nothing happens. I'm like the King of photobucket picture comments and can't even use those...

Besides, I figured role playing and acting like a grade school teacher sending kids to go sit in the corner was in itself enough of a hint that it was a joke.

Sorry quiet, if I offended you...

better yet, I'm gonna type out the word flower or flowers and put brackets around it, see if it turns into a mingle smiley...

...and Lilith, thank you.

You can actually make it a smiley if you put colons before and after the words smile, laugh, flowerforyou, etc.

Give it a try...
