leave it to Beaver or...  Fights and feuds..?  Did it effect the way you turned out???? Actually it was more like a zoo. My brothers and I were always bring home animals. |

Definitely "Leave It To Beaver" Mom did not work outside the home and dinner was on the table when Dad got home. They have been married for 53 years. Still in love- no fights in our house- well at least none that we heard. It was a nice way to grow up. Mine was similar. They always seemed to stick together with the important stuff. I always felt loved and safe. |

I guess it affected me insofar as I've never had any real desire to be part of a standard "family unit," whatever that means. |

Kinda a mixture of both cept my parents used a lotta drugs and my father played in a rock n roll cover band. Oh and we moved around like gypsies. So maybe less leave it to beaver now that I think about it. Seemed normal to me at the time anyway.

My parents both worked second shift, so we were pretty much left with babysitters.
And those babysitters were whack jobs. I could tell you some stories. Probably why I'm so anal about not leaving my kids with strangers, now. When we were all together, we got along. |
