I gave a homeless man some cookies and a Mt. Dew in Spokane. You can get fined for giving them money. He teared up and thanked me profusely. Gave me a real boost to my day!

i try to go out of my way to do something nice everyday if i can......

because in the end we will be judged not for what kind of car we drove but how many people we gave a ride when they needed it!!!

That was sweet of you that might of been the only meal he had in awhile.

I don't on purpose.... I just live my life and do what is right. I would only ever bring it up and tell someone else if I felt doing so served another purpose or illustrated a point.

I am sorry I missed what ever was delete in theis thread but I know the op was not bragging or seeking attention!
Some people are ruid and complain about the topics but they do not post alot of topics themselves.
The bible says do your good deeds privatly as to not draw attention to yourself.. but that is not what the op was doing,
I do the deeds because it makes me feel good to do for others.. Thats why we all do it...

Why do they have to be random acts? Why not be consistently nice?

We all need to be consistantly nice. Otherwise society will go to **** in a handbasket.

A question was asked here along with giving and excample of what one person did. There is nothing wrong with giving to those in need and just maybe these type of post will remind us all a little each day to be kinder to the ones around us.

In the future I would advise that if for some reason you can not stay on the subject in hand without attacking others I suggest you move on to another thread.

Yes. It makes me feel good and I naturally like to help others. I remember a gentleman that helped me tremendously. All that he asked of me was to help another in need. So I do. Its just like respect, if you want some, then show some.
