French Fries were invented by the Germans when they invaded Paris with flamethrowers Actually they call 'em Pommes Fries, not so sure on my spellin. I remember how to pronounce it though! Pommes Frites are just what the french call them, dont listen to them! In the UK we call them chips. And we call chips crisps. That's what they called 'em at the German cantina on the base where I was stationed at. D*mn were they good!! Went great with jager snitzel!!
