years for music and why..........
mine were the 80's........seems there was more meaning and feeling to lyrics in music that people enjoyed, and the happiness between genders seemed to be more relaxing than today.......

80s for sure....but more meaning and feeling to the lyrics? I must have been listening to the wrong stuff then...cuz it made no sense whatsoever.

Even though I wasn't born until the 70's, my favorite is the 50's and 60's music. There's just something about that time period that makes it seem like life was simple and fun.

I enjoyed the hair band -- butt-band -- days, and I break out Poison, Tesla, Warrant, etc, a few times a month.

I really like the hardcore scene today though! Manson, Mudvayne, Slipknot, Mushroomhead, Sevendust, et al, really make me happy!

Old rock really annoys me. What the majority of people consider classic -- Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Police, Rolling Stones, etc -- is not pleasant to my ears.
