Oh man...I feel for Denny Hamlin!!! He had the car to beat. His pit crew
let him down BIG time! That is what I was talking about earlier about
the WHOLE team needing to be the best. Not just the driver. They had the
car...they had the driver...they didn't have the pit crew. That is what
makes this sport so unpredictable in most races. It only takes a couple
messed up job assignments and you are looking at more bumpers instead of
clean air.
Congrats to the Hendricks engine department for building an engine for
Jeff that should have blown sky high way before the end of that race.
The cooling system failed and was spewing like an old Stanely Steamer
but it brought him home and even let him do burnouts after it! Thats
what I had said before that Hendricks has the best team out there as far
as equipment goes.

I was so shocked he made it all the way.

I felt kind of bad for Denny, but it kinda ticked me off when he whined
about it. Gosh, I hate when driver whine. Yes, even my driver. But oh
well, you'll have that.

LOl...Yea I don't like the whining either but he really did get screwed
and he did his job flawlessly. It's got to be frustrating when your team
can't even change a tire without dropping the lugnuts which are glued
onto the wheels.

Yeah that is true.

But I read an article about him being furiated with his pit crew. He
had a sit down with them.


Maybe now he can be the best and win it too! Haha.

There are drivers, and then there are teams. Jeff Gordon only shows me
he has a good team. I see no skills apparent to driving whatsoever..

If I ever had any respect for Gorden and I didn't I lost it when he
decided to play tough guy and start a fight with his helment ..don't
want to mess up that pretty face. Go smoke #20 ain't out of it yet

The only reason he was in his helemt was because he JUST had gotten out
of the car. They showed him lifting his leg out of the car. So don't
judge by that, he could have taken his helmet off but was furious with
Kenseth and Matt had come over as Jeff got out of the car.


The pushing was still stupid though.

Aw heck any experienced racer knows you never take your helmet off in a
fight unless you're gonna swing it. Recheck the tapes of Cale and Bobby
and Donnie Allison at the 79 Daytona 500.

Jeff didn't have time to take off the helment..He was more
interested in cordially inviting Matt to his next tea party!! I think he
said something about a wall in the next race.

Haha, good one.

I hope Hamlin has his pit crew straightened out for this race. He has a
chance with everybody clickin'

Denny got his wish like I said that he needed. 3 crew members have been
fired and 2 more have been moved to another position after loosing the
Darlington for Denny Hamlin. I hope this works for him but the newbee
jitters could bite him again! I'll be at Charlotte this weekend roaming
around. I even have pit passes so maybe I'll go spill some coffee on
Jeff...lol. Just kidding. I will be rubbin elbows with Jr. and Tony and
Denny though. Mark Martin has added 4 more races to his schedule.
Jr. got fined and lost 100 pts for using old practice brackets on the
back wing.They will appeal it cause they were approved before. Why not
now.NASCAR officials are living in a fantasy world now. They have the
cars and drivers in a choke hold and they are taking all the fun out of
it cause its such big money now.

TONY.....He has giv'in Gordon a big head start this year.Let's say a
handy cap points.Now that Tony has giv'in Gordon a head start he's going
to school him on how to really drive.STARTING THIS WEEK!!!!!!!!!

I hope Tony and Jr. and Denny all have a great race. We have sevaral
good races at Charlotte and it should be interesting!
