With the April 15 tax deadline looming, just under half of Americans (48%) say the amount of federal income tax they pay is “about right.” Since 1956, Gallup has found a higher percentage expressing this view only once -- in 2003. Additionally, 61% regard the income tax they are paying this year as fair.

That statement is true nothing funny about it. If they truely were for the people then they would listen to all sides before making hasty decisions.
