Last year I worked 38 weekends in a row...Wasn't saying that like I was completly heartless... I just know that I am pretty unmerciful to my assistants...Unless it is hospitilization or a death in the family...I make em take vacations in the fall and winter. I know...I am a d*ck |

If i go sick now, someone HAS to come in and cover my shift, so i wouldnt phone in sick unless i actually was. What i have done in the past though, is phone in literally the second i wake up, because you sound ill then too. |

I wonder what they thought when I called in and said that I had to take a sick day because I have the Pneumonic Plague? They've probably been quaratined there for days!!!

I heard my dad phone one of his customers once saying he couldnt go to their house that day because he has a bone in his leg. Its an old one, but it worked.
