I just got new pics up and the one of the dog on the bed is my beloved Simba, who would have been 16 years old last week. when I lost her TxGal (Kristi)wrote me a beautiful poem. Kristi. I just wanna let U know I still read that poem to comfort me and it got me through a VERY hard time!! I just wanna Bless U for your kindness during that time!! With Love, Mike!!!!

Mikey e-mailed me and asked me if I would in fact post the poem I had wrote for him. So here it is............
Simba Today God called Simba home. Where there are meadows of flowers for her to roam. She is in a place higher up. Again she is running like a pup. She feels the cool breeze upon her face. While she runs out in the open space. No longer does she feel any pain. In her heart your love will always remain. She remembers the times you took her for a walk And remembers the times you sat and talk. It did not matter that she could not speak. All she had to do was put her nose upon your cheek. When she was ready for her walk she waited at the door. You knew she was ready to go outside and explore. At times you stood and watched her chase a squirrel up a tree. Now Heaven is her home and she is running free. Even though she has went away. In your heart she has a place to stay. No matter what always believe. From there she will never leave. K.L.M 9/20/2007 |
