I HAVE DECIDED TO BECOME A WRITE-IN CANDIDATE.
HERE IS MY PLATFORM:

(1) 'Press 1 for English' is immediately banned. English is the official language. Speak it or wait at the border until you can.

(2) We will immediately go into a two year isolationist posture to straighten out the country's attitude. NO imports, no exports. We will use the Wal-Mart policy, 'If we ain't got it, you don't need it.'

(3) When imports are allowed, there will be a 100% import tax on it.

(4) All retired military personnel will be required to man one of our many observation towers on the southern border (six month tour). They will be under strict orders not to fire on SOUTHBOUND aliens.

(5) Social security will immediately return to its original state. If you didn't put nuttin in, you ain't getting nuttin out. Neither the president nor any other politician will be able to touch it.


(6) Welfare - Checks will be handed out on Fridays at the end of the 40 hour school week and the successful completion of urinalysis and a passing grade.

(7) Professional Athletes--Steroids. The FIRST time you check positive you're banned for life.

(8) Crime - We will adopt the Turkish method, the first time you steal, you lose your right hand. There are no more life sentences. If convicted of murder, you will be put to death by the same method you chose for your victim; gun, knife, strangulation, etc.

(9) One export will be allowed, Wheat. The world needs to eat. A bushel of wheat will be the exact price of a barrel of oil.

(10) All foreign aid using American taxpayer money will immediately cease, and the saved money will pay off the national debt and ultimately lower taxes. When disasters occur around the world, we'll ask the American people if they want to donate to a disaster fund, and each citizen can make the decision whether it's a worthy cause.

(11) The Pledge of Allegiance will be said every day at school and every day in Congress.

(12) The National Anthem will be played at all appropriate ceremonies, sporting events, outings, etc.

Complete isolationism is impossible. The United States economy is too tied and intermingled into the global market.


Not only would that increase the prices to consumers within the US, it would effect the global economy which would in turn effect the US.



Funny thing about US policy in regards to Mexian immigrants. Whenever there is a down turn in the economy, 'we' whine about mexican workers. But as soon as we have an economic up turn, we open the borders and encourage them to cross.


We have too many babyboomers retiring as compared to those that are paying in. It isn't like when the money is taken out of your check it sits there until you retire.



I think that it would be wonderful if welfare/transfer payments would support education. The current system discourages enrollment into a 4 year instituation.







There is a lot more going on with foreign aid then just handing out money.

i had some one yell at me the other day buy american as they turned and went by me at the light (i was in my toyota motor home that was made in california)

i thought yeah right (i always buy a used vehicle) and what car is american made any more i have had chevy' fords and still have a metro it is a chevy but it is made in japan (by suzuki i think)

Retired military should not be required to do spit unless the volunteer to do it.

never was a big fan of bill but if he really came up with this crap i am even less of a fan (if that is possible)

Maybe if everyone was forced join the service they might think twice about war in the first place, when a few men can cause a war requiring many other men 'under' them to do their dirty work for them.

We focus so much on patriotism, I'm not fooled by the reason for it, it's justification for our actions and or interests, and less about supporting real freedom.

We rarely talk about the fact that those that start wars typically don't fight them. Have a look at country's that are ruled by their military, is that what we want here? Well then you start by hyper patriotism and have soldiers act as if they are our leaders.

Am I all wrong? Or has our own propaganda worked on us?

no conflict or war has been fought for the freedoms of americans since ww2

and if you want to get technical about it since the civil war

every conflict since has been fought for unappreciative people of other countries (they may have appreicated it at the time but maybe it has been lost do to the actions of the u s since)
