It seems to me from the news I have been reading that liberalism is getting more and more unpopular and dying a slow death.I keep reading of liberals newspapapers either closing or losing millions of dollars.Liberal websites like MSNBC are losing viewers at staggering rates.News stations like CNN are also dealing with low ratings. You can count the liberal talk radio stations on one hand.

Conservative radio stations are thriving.Talk show hosts like Rush limbah,Dan savage, and Mark lavin frequently get millions of listeners.Newstations like Fox news are not losing ratings but gaining them.A recent poll found for the first time the majority of Americans are pro life. After recent elections in Europe many countries that were far left have switched from liberals to Conservitives. They voted overwhelmingly for Conservitives. The same thing is going on in Canada.

People around the world are fed up with this liberal BS.

Ooo.. nice thread. Though I hate the whole labeling of "liberal" and "conservative". I prefer "anti constitutionalist" and "constitutionalist" it makes more sense once you know the leanings of the different types of people.

I don't know the ratings or anything

but this crossed my mind a lot lately. I (personally) am more conservative...but I'm liberal enough to know others have different opinions. it seem to me that some liberals are only liberal if you agree with them.

just a thought

To hear some the liberals are the reason for every ill in the world.

I guess we may as well blame them for it all.

I only blame conservatives for being hatefilled and dictatorial.

If you are going to get into politics you better know where you stand. There is a reason independents don't stand a snowballs chance in hell during election time and never get elected.People don't know where they stand.Although it would be nice to get rid of the labels all together(and I am all for it)it is very useful to know who to support and not to support because they label themselves liberals or conservitives. It makes voting easier.

Sure, ummm who's the leader of the Republican Party right now?....yup. Recent CNN poll found almost half of republicans and right leaning independents have no idea who their captain is. Let's go Jindal...hahaha (though in actuality I believe he is very smart and capable but man that was one poor performance, was he talking to a child?)

First it was the conservatives complaining all the print media is liberal....probably fair point to make, but perhaps it's because more liberal minded people go into journalism. Print media is an aging dinosaur with the internet. So if print media is liberal, and all print media seems to be waning...hmmm.

http://www.gallup.com/poll/118399/more-americans-pro-life-than-pro-choice-first-time.aspx

it's that republicans are moving further right, (not surprising considering they feel backed into a corner after losing in spectacular fashion).

Yes in Europe people may have switched, much like the US switched in 2008. Guess what happened, the economy tanked, people were unhappy, they voted for the other guy.....same thing happened here, we just happened to have conservative leadership at the time and they had leftist leadership.

All of this says very little other than, liberals are more content now because they wield the power and conservatives are getting upset and thus watching more news to make their arguments, they are becoming more active then they have been when they had the power. It's the have nots that feel pressed into a corner who are going to fight back.

Well the liberals can only redistribute wealth for only so long, before hard working people are fed up supporting people that don't wanna work.

It doesn't really matter who gets elected, they're all the same. Obama is not much different in his politics than Bush. They are all in pockets of big business. They are the ones who really run the country.

Yes, that's very true. It's happened before. The people that are ahead in the game become relaxed and secure. The people that aren't ahead, become worried and start getting louder and fight back.

Too bad most of it was true. I would have liked it better had it been untrue.
