I pay no attention to who looks at me so i would never get offended by it. If there was an option to turn the feature off so i couldnt see them at all, i would use it.

Yeah my 5 pages of testing what words are no longer acceptable in forums last week was deleted. And it was deemed explicit vulgarity slinging and vulgar behavior. And I was told if I had any questions of words that are banned now- to contact charles and not test them in the forums. Some bad bad bad words slipped by their ******* program. Ooops. But now I know what words are edited in the new program implemented last friday! And trust me- we tested em all.

There was a period of several months where a group of 7 or 8 women would all look at my profile every single day. This may have been before Stealth Mode, I'm not sure.
Anyway, this went on for a long time; not once did I ever hear a peep out of any of them. Just looked, every day. Maybe they still do, but now in Stealth Mode. Not that I really care. It just puzzles me. |

Yeah, but -- well, OK, on the one hand, it could really be a barrier to potential communication. That's why I don't use Stealth Mode. If I look, I want you to KNOW I looked. What you do with that information is up to you; it's really not my concern -- but if you know I looked, you can at least think about the ramifications of the lookery. On the other hand, I would be perfectly fine with never having known that the Gang of Eight were perving my profile. They weren't exactly the people I was hoping to meet....! |
