Many artistic works have made fun of Death. Robert Altmans 'M*A*S*H*'made fun of suicide, the 'Chuckles The Clown'episode on 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show'is considered a classic and don't forget Susan dying on 'Seinfeld'. Do you think Death is something that can be made fun of? or is it off limits? be seeing you

I believe it depends on the person doin the dyin. My Mom held on to her sense of humor almost to her last breath. She wanted no tears, no funeral, but her family gatherin together an tellin stories, rememberin the smiles an laughs she brought into our lives. Gotta love us Irishdrinker We know how to throw a wake.shades

Unless one drowns in a bowl of chicken soup. ( mary Hartman, Mary hartman) NO,,,,,,,,,it is the change of life as one knows it. It affects all others in their life.flowerforyou

funny things can happen, but poking fun at a persons death is disrepectful to the one that passed and their friends and family and loved ones.

Can be hilarious when used right...

Black comedy is often times the funniest thing to me, but a lot of people have problems with it.

I don't think most people actually make it funny. They might try, but very few can actually pull it off.

I know more dead people than alive...& I'd rather laugh about it than cry...I do that in private... My Dad died shortly after the Challenger exploded...on the way to the gravesite, we told all of the Challenger jokes... Know how they knew the astronauts didn't have dandruff? Cuz they found their Head & Shoulders...

The astronauts had impeccable hygiene...cuz they washed up on shore...

I was heading due east on 10th St in St. Cloud/Kissimmee, Fl when I saw the Challenger blow up...all I could say to my husband at the time was "Hmmm...that don't look right"...ohwell

There is a big difference when you are remembering them by the laughter they brought to others within their life time or by making cruel jokes about their life.

Myself I'm all for remembering them as they were and the funny things they sad that made me bigsmile or  .

But...........to be sarcastically cruel with the jokes making fun of them after they are dead is disrespectful to anyone that has passed.ohwell

My Gawd let the family's grieve the way they choose to don't sling mud in their face at the expense of a few laughs.

Like anything else in life there is a point that one goes over the line.noway
